62% Syrah/ 26% Grenache/12% Petite Sirah         

A new Syrah blend named for our blue and red tongued Saint Bernard which graces every bottle of our red wine. A very balanced blend, the Syrah contributes dark chocolate and toasty oak on the nose, with blueberry and anise on the mid palate. The Grenache gives a cherry fruit characteristic and a fine minerality, with the Petite Sirah adding tannin structure and geranium spice.

Our estate vineyard Tre Noce, meaning three nuts in Italian, is dry farmed and 100% organic.

Aromas of dark cherries and pepper spice lead into currant and juicy berry fruit with a hint of fennel and distinct mineral tones, representing the terroir of our vineyard.

2010 Reserve Zinfandel

Winemaker and owner, Dover Dan recognized 2010 to be a superior year for Zinfandel grapes on the Westside of Paso Robles. With abundant rainfall and a surprisingly cool summer and autumn the vines became vigorous and the grapes were given ample time to ripen, which resulted in very complex flavor profiles.

Aromas of wild berries and spice lead into full bodied flavors of plum, dark cherry and pepper with a soft vanilla and oak finish.
