Text Box: We first began making the “Cujo” blend in 1997, so this is our ninth vintage of this brawny, jammy style. The name is a light-hearted reference to the Stephen King horror novel about a rabid St. Bernard.
What else are you going to call a killer zin with this label?

Intriguing aromas of raspberry and sage lead into rich, deep flavors of cherry and blackberry, with a dusting of cocoa and a spicy black pepper finish.

These grapes were picked from carefully selected vineyards renowned for stong pepper and raspberry character. The fruit was fermented in small open top fermentors, with yeasts specifically designed for zinfandel, then aged for sixteen months in seasoned American and French oak.
