Text Box: Aromas of raspberries and blueberries lead into deeper, woodsy flavors of black raspberries, sage, and licorice in this rich, expressive release from west Paso Robles. This wine is a select blend of our premium zinfandel lots. A long, cool vintage highlights the pepper and Italianate character for which zinfandel is universally loved. The resulting smooth, gentle tannins and natural complexity are augmented by sixteen months sur lies in neutral American oak. Only 4 barrels produced.

Suggested food pairings ~ Grilled tritip in a Zinfandel and black pepper marinade, with a “roasted salsa” of grilled garlic, fennel, chiles, heirloom tomatoes and sweet onions. Serve with Gorgonzola mashed potatoes and a salad tossed with raspberries and toasted pine nuts.
